Grant Awarded for OMS Training Curriculum

The OMS team has been awarded a grant from the CSU System Venture Capital Fund to develop a course curriculum and training materials for instruction in building models and running simulations using the OMS platform.  The grant was announced in Today@Colorado State University on August 15, 2013.

The project will leverage and consolidate content from previous OMS training sessions and include course outlines and training plans and an interactive on-line visual student experience to build and run model simulations focused on, but not limited to agricultural and environmental concerns.  The project runs for 18 months with reporting at six month intervals.  CSU students will engage with the OMS team in the development of the curriculum.  The project will integrate with a companion effort in the CSU Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering to develop training material for the Environmental Resource Analysis and Management System (eRAMS) platform.
