We (the OMS Team) have established two categories of posts to this web site, one (NEWS) devoted to information about events, milestones, and other items that may be of interest.  The second category (BLOG) is less formal involving issues and the occasional opinion from OMS Team members.  For now these posts won’t be open for comments, but certainly feel free to communicate via the Contact Us link.

Three interests currently cross-cutting the priorities we work on are (1) how to get complex time/phase step models to run many times really fast, (2) how to provision regional and national input datasets to models more efficiently, and (3) how to streamline the handshake between the model and data service provider and consumer.  We’ll discuss these in more detail and other topics in blog posts going forward.
